Who we are
Voss Blinds is a custom blinds business based in Calgary, Alberta. This policy covers vossblinds.ca and explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors are located. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like your browser type, device and pages viewed. It does not tell us your name or contact details. You can opt out with Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Sun report
When you look up an address in our sun report, your browser sends it directly to the City of Calgary's open data service to find the buildings, trees and streets around it. We don't receive or store the address, and it isn't sent to Google Analytics; Analytics only records that a report was run. If you choose to email us your report, the address is included in that email.
When you contact us
If you email us, we use your name, contact details and anything you tell us about your home only to respond to you and to quote, supply and install your blinds. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it except where needed to complete your order or where the law requires it.
Your rights
Under Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@vossblinds.ca and we'll respond within 30 days.
